Access scope
- Management and Deputy Management see authorised active residents across the organisation.
- Recovery Support Workers only reach the residents assigned to their own caseload.
- Every view stays inside what the recovery user has consented to share.
When location sharing is active, a recovery user cannot instantly switch it off. A mandatory 3-day waiting period applies before an active location-sharing option is turned off, helping maintain continuity during higher-risk periods.
A request to withdraw professional location sharing begins the existing three-day waiting process. During that period the current system rules continue to apply, giving the treatment organisation visibility of the pending withdrawal rather than location access disappearing without warning. Recovery users remain in control of consent, and Emergency Cancellation remains available to end sharing straight away if the person needs it.
- Consent stays with the recovery user
- Pending withdrawal is visible for 3 days
- Emergency Cancellation always available
The platform
Everything your recovery team needs in one workspace
Built around the way treatment services already work — caseloads, handovers, reviews and oversight — with the recovery user's consent at the centre of every view.
Professional Recovery Command Centre
One professional workspace showing priority cases, risk status, alerts and recovery activity across the people your team supports.
Individual professional caseloads
Each professional works from their own caseload, with case pages covering overview, notes, timeline, check-ins and authorised signals.
Management & Deputy Management oversight
Organisation-level views of active placements, staff and caseload distribution for the people responsible for the service.
Recovery Support Worker access
Support Workers are limited to the residents assigned to them — no organisation-wide access, no browsing other caseloads.
Guardian AI professional insights
Permitted check-ins, recovery trends and meeting activity summarised into short, practical insights for the professional supporting that person.
Risk and priority views
Immediate, High, Monitor and Stable states surface who needs attention first, drawn from the recovery signals already shared with the service.
Live caseload GPS map
A control-room style map showing authorised live or last-known locations for the residents who have granted location consent.
Organisation-wide authorised GPS view
Management and Deputy Management can see authorised active residents across their own organisation. Workers remain limited to their caseload.
Assignment and reassignment
Assign a resident to a professional, reassign when staffing changes, and keep continuity of the record throughout.
Professional directory
A staff directory of the professionals in your organisation, their role level, status and current caseload size.
Organisation & licensed place management
Manage licensed capacity, invite residents and staff, and reuse a licensed place when a placement ends.
Consent-controlled access
Sensitive information is only visible where the recovery user has granted the relevant permission — and withdrawing consent removes that visibility.
Recovery-user-controlled privacy
Private journals and private AI conversations stay private. Professionals see operational recovery information, not everything a person writes.
Case history and continuity
Case notes and timelines keep an auditable professional record so handovers and reviews are straightforward.
Secure separation between organisations
Each organisation's data is isolated. No organisation can see another organisation's residents, staff or records.
Separate consumer experiences
The Recovery User app and the Family / Support Team experience remain separate from professional access and are unchanged by it.
Consent-led, not surveillance
Recovery Gaurdian is designed to support people, not to monitor them. Professionals do not automatically receive access to a recovery user's private information or location. Sensitive data and location visibility are granted by the recovery user through the permissions they control.
Where professional location sharing has been authorised as part of the service, it cannot be switched off instantly. A request to withdraw it starts the existing three-day waiting period, during which the current system rules continue to apply — so your organisation has advance visibility of a pending withdrawal instead of access disappearing without warning.
