Trigger zones

An early signal when somewhere risky is entered.

Some places make recovery harder. Trigger zones are areas the Recovery User chooses to mark, so an approved supporter can be alerted and reach out at the right moment.

How it helps

  • Zones you choose

The Recovery User decides which places are marked as higher risk.

  • Timely, not noisy

An alert appears when it matters rather than a constant stream of updates.

  • Prompts support

Every alert ends with a simple action: check in and start a conversation.

  • Same consent model

Zone alerts only work where location sharing has already been enabled.

Consent and control

Support, not surveillance

Trigger-zone alerts exist to prompt support and communication. They are not a punishment, they are not covert monitoring, and they only apply when the Recovery User has voluntarily enabled location sharing with that supporter.
